At the stage of tenant’s future project selection there are multiple interactions of sales/project teams with potential tenants only to offer basic standard Skanska project information, with only few of the initial leads being followed-up to HOTs and lease agreements; similar issue applies to development of the preliminary fit-out design that is used for the initial fit-out cost estimate, with many tenants stepping away from our project without concluding lease agreements. All these interactions without a conclusive agreement, results in wasted time for the sales/project teams.
To develop an online platform, allowing potential tenants to become familiar with the project and the offer of rental spaces, create a preliminary fit-out concept design and based on this, an initial cost estimate for the fit-out works. A possible future development could be a digital fit-out catalog and the integration of a database of products and services, which would allow the automation of the price offer and the contracts with the clients.
More rapid and efficient way to identify and profile the potential suitable tenants; speed up the leasing process and increase efficiency of the project team activity; on long term educate the tenants

Proptech Romania is organizing a dedicated proptech hackathon for Skanska Romania, with the
purpose to identify innovative solutions concepts, which will offer a competitive advantage to
the sales team in the onboarding processes of potential clients and to positioning Skanska as an
innovative company on niche development of office buildings. It is also desired to design
an action plan for the next 12 months to create opportunities for integrating the winning
solutions into current Skanska processes.
